About 12 x 16
For Illustration class we're doing a poster illustration for a campus department. I chose to do something for East Asian Studies. I wanted something that was obviously oriental, but not to the point that you could say it was either Chinese or Japanese specifically (those are the only two areas of study we have cause the Korean program got dropped). I'm going to tone down the colors in the back ground in photoshop to make the main emphasis stand out more, as well as fix my kanji position a bit and add the english text as well.
That box thing on the girl's lap is supposed to be a koto...supposed to be XD
ANYWAYS, there's a lot to be fixed, and I know that, so please don't tell me what things you notice I should fix cause I aint in a mood for criticism right at the moment. Jest let me revel in the glory that I managed to draw/paint something for a little while...you can critique the final version, k?
