For digital painting right now the assignment was to start out with abstract shapes, custom brushes and gradients and keep working at it until we start to see something in the shapes, then to work at it with the same techniques until we develop that form. I think this is pretty successful. It started to look like a person sitting on stairs, then it developed into this red haired woman sitting under the moon by the sea.
