Tiger by RebekahByland Tiger by RebekahByland
I want to make art that makes me happy, and hopefully that will make others happy too. I've recently decided that I shouldn't worry about making realistic art, or trying to color realistically. As much as I admire people who can do that, and as much as I want to do that I am seldom happy with the result. So when I am drawing for the sake of art I'm going to just let myself go and focus on making something interesting, without worrying about realism. I hope you like the result.

Drawn with Copic micro liners, colored with crayola colored pencils and digitally enhanced.

This is just amazing, I love the sort of crosshatching style you shaded the stripes with, and the colors you used. The way you drew the fur on the face looks really good, too.

I like how it came out. :D The style is very charming, combining creepy and cute into a very interesting tiger. I dig the way you used hash marks for the stripes and shading with the pen, and the coloring method suits the piece well. :) Good job.

Thank you! I'd have to say that if I had to choose two words to describe my art it would be creepy-cute, so I'm glad you think so!
